Book Quisha to Speak

Your audience deserves a voice that tells the truth about fertility.

Not the polished, everything-worked-out version. The real one.

I show up to every stage, screen, and microphone with honesty, heart, and a deep commitment to helping women feel seen. Whether your audience is walking through an infertility diagnosis, supporting someone who is, or simply trying to understand what so many women carry in silence, I bring a message that lands, lingers, and leaves people feeling less alone.

I speak at live events, in-person conferences, virtual summits, and podcast interviews. If your community needs a grounded, faith-forward voice on fertility, women's health, or the emotional side of the journey to motherhood, let's talk.

A Little About Me

I am Quisha Umemba, a registered nurse, public health professional, Amazon bestselling author, and fertility doula-in-training. My book, Fertile Ground: One Woman's Journey Through Infertility, Where Hope and Heartbreak Coexist, is the story I wish I had found when I was in the middle of my own fertility journey. It is raw, real, and rooted in faith.

I have spent more than 20 years working at the intersection of health, education, and community. I know how to take complicated health topics and make them feel human. I know what it is like to sit in a doctor's office and leave with more questions than answers. And I know what it is like to hold onto hope when nothing in your body is cooperating.

I bring all of that to every speaking engagement, because the women in your audience deserve more than a presentation. They deserve a conversation that changes something.

Signature Topics

Fertile Ground: Hope, Heartbreak, and the Journey No One Talks About

This is my signature keynote, drawn directly from my memoir and my personal fertility journey. I talk about what it really feels like to want a baby and not be able to have one, the grief that comes with it, the cultural shame that accompanies it, and the faith that carries you through. This talk is for women's conferences, faith-based events, and any space where real conversations about womanhood are welcome.

Navigating Infertility in the Black Community: Breaking the Silence

Black women are less likely to seek fertility treatment, more likely to face barriers when they do, and often carry their grief alone because of cultural stigma. This talk opens the door to that conversation with compassion and honesty. I address the cultural, mental, emotional, and medical layers of infertility in our community and invite women to stop suffering in silence. This topic is a strong fit for Black maternal health events, health equity conferences, and community health settings.

Faith, Fertility, and Holding On: A Spiritual Perspective on the Journey

When you are believing God for a baby and nothing is happening, the questions get heavy. This session is for women of faith who are trying to hold onto their belief while navigating one of the hardest seasons of their lives. I share what faith actually looked like for me in the middle of loss and uncertainty, and I give language to the things most people are too afraid to say out loud. This is a powerful fit for church women's events, faith-based retreats, and prayer and wellness gatherings.

Supporting Someone Through Infertility: A Guide for Friends, Family, and Caregivers

Sometimes the people who love us most do not know what to say or do. Sometimes they say and do hurtful things not knowing how it impacts those struggling with infertility. This session is designed for support persons who are trying to show up well. I give practical, compassionate guidance on how to support a loved one through infertility without making things worse. This topic works well for general audiences, couples' events, and workplace wellness programs.
